Welcome to the Brand Rights Health Check!
A brand consists of various elements, such as words, figures, combinations of these, slogans, the appearance of products and packaging, colours, sounds, music, and other distinctive brand elements. Exclusive rights to commercially important brand elements are obtained through registrations of brand rights.
Brand rights include the company's official names, i.e., trade names and auxiliary trade names, identifiers for products and services, i.e., trademarks, website addresses, i.e., domain names, the design of products or packaging, i.e., design rights, and content, i.e., copyrights.
By answering the questions, you will receive a comprehensive assessment of your company's current brand rights status: how comprehensively the company owns the brand elements and how strategically and holistically brand rights have been managed in the company. You will also receive action recommendations that enable your company to increase the value of its brand rights in the future.
Participating in the Brand Rights Health Check requires background information about the size of the company you represent. Depending on the company size, there are either 11, 31, or 35 questions. Answering these with "Yes" or "No" choices takes approximately 5–15 minutes. If you don't know the answer, select "No". You can save your answers and continue responding later if you wish. You will receive the results with action recommendations via email.
